UK’s most beautiful face. (girls)
According to media reports, an 18-year-old student was chosen as the Britain’s most beautiful face, and it’s proven scientifically. Her face is perfectly symmetrical and she has the “optimum ratio” between her mouth, eyes, chin and forehead, according to Huffington Post. I wonder if men were also in the contest?
But I didn’t know that having a symmetrical face defines beauty… (not that I have anything against it though.) If I’m not mistaken, the wife of Odagiri Joe (what was her name… Kahii Yuu) also has a symmetrical face?
化粧品メーカーがスポンサーしたコンテストで、18歳のフローレンス・コルゲートさんが「イギリスで最も美しい顔の持ち主」として選ばれました。コルゲートさんの顔は左右の対称が完璧であるほか、口、目、あご、おでこの比が「最適」だとのことです。（それぞれのパーツの距離がほどよく離れているということ、なのでしょう。）たしかに誰が見ても美人ですが、私はもう少し崩れて味のある顔がいい。
でも男性は候補に挙がらなかったのか。高村薫の小説に出てくる男の殺し屋とか、コルゲートさんより絶対「美人」だろう。
それにしても左右対称であることが美人の条件とは知らなかった。これが正しければ、オダギリジョーの奥さん（かしいゆう？）もすごく美人ということか。確かに美しい人です。

This is one of my favorite songs from his live album 찰라의 기초 (Basis of Planck Time). If I’m not mistaken, it’s a cover song of an 80s duo 어떤날 (Otonal).
As you can see, he sings leaning on a desk that has some objects placed at the front. Must have been so good to see him live like that! (although, I’m not so sure about his close-ups…)
韓国のアーティスト、ペク・ヒョンジン氏のパフォーマンスをユーチューブで発見しました。期待通り、思いもしないようなセット（講演用みたいな机とマイク）で歌っています。これだから彼のファンは辞められません。（クロースアップの部分はどうかと思うが。。。）
歌っているのは「午後だけあった日曜日」という曲で、昨年発売されたライブアルバム「瞬間の基礎」に収録されています。この曲は８０年代のフォークデュオ、オットンナルのカバーだったはず。大好きな曲です。
暇なのでYouTubeをだらだら観ていたら、2004年の映画「ヒトラー 最期の12日間」のパロディーを山ほど発見しました。
どのようなパロディーかというと、戦争に負けつつある状況を知ったヒトラーが怒りだすというシーンを使い（セリフはドイツ語？）、字幕を好きなように変えるというものです。例えば、「マイケル・ジャクソンの死について知ったヒトラー」「行きたかったミュージカルのチケットを取れなかったヒトラー」などと、いろんなバージョン（それこそ何千もの）があります。
この間ブログでも紹介した、インド映画からの曲で大ヒットとなった「Why This Kolaveri Di」もパロディーが作られていて、YouTubeでの視聴回数が爆発したことにヒトラーが怒りだすという内容（こちら）。「自分のfacebookにこのビデオのリンクを貼った者は出て行け！」とヒトラーが言うと、部屋にいる大半の部下は出て行ってしまったり、それでも部屋に残った部下が激高するヒトラーに「でもこのシンガーは（南インドの映画スター）ラジニカーンの義理の息子なんです！」と説明したり。
ほかにも、最近発表されたばかりのニュースでは、ニューヨークのMoMAでドイツの電子音楽グループ「クラフトワーク」のパフォーマンスが決定しましたが、チケットが１人当たり２枚までと限定されていることについて怒るヒトラー、というのも（こちら）。しかし私の個人的な意見では、このビデオはナイストライですが、字幕はあまり面白くない。
ところでこのMoMAでのパフォーマンス、とても面白そうです。詳細は不明ですが、パフォーマンスは８日にわたり行われ、毎晩違うアルバムを扱うという凝った内容。初日の４月１０日は「アウトバーン」、最終日の４月１７日は「ツール・ド・フランス」といった感じ。私はやはり「アウトバーン」が観たい。クラフトワークのフェイスブックページによると、「ライブ演奏と３D映像」と説明されています。
I recently found out that there are so many parodies of a scene from the movie “Downfall”. The movie is about the last days of Adolf Hitler. The scene used is when Hitler bursts into murderous rage when he realises the war is lost. And in parodied versions, they put subtitles suiting to whatever the theme is - like Hitler finds out Michael Jackson passed away and gets upset he can’t go to MJ’s concert, or he gets angry because he couldn’t get tickets to a Broadway musical, etc.
There is also a parody of “Why This Kolaveri Di” (here), a song from a forthcoming Indian movie, which I wrote about in this blog earlier. Incidentally, I think “kolaveri” means murderous rage in Tamil.
I also found a parody about Kraftwerk’s show at MoMA (here), which was announced very recently. In this video, Hitler gets angry that there’s a limit to how many tickets one person can get. My personal opinion of this parody - it’s a good try but it’s not that interesting. By the way, this performance will be a fantastic one. They will do a total of 8 shows at MoMA, and each night they play a different album with 3D images. The tickets are (of course) all sold out… I’d love to see the first night when they play “Autobahn”!

Each evening consists of a live performance and 3-D visualization of one of Kraftwerk’s studio albums—Autobahn (1974), Radio-Activity (1975), Trans-Europe Express (1977), The Man-Machine (1978), Computer World (1981), Techno Pop (1986), The Mix (1991), and Tour de France (2003)—in the order of their release. Kraftwerk will follow each evening’s album performance with additional compositions from their catalog, all adapted specifically for this exhibition. ”

This is another song from the movie Delhi Belly. The main guy dressed as disco fighter in this clip is Arup (played by Vir Das), and he storms into his ex-girlfriend’s wedding (or so he daydreams). What he says before he starts singing and dancing is so funny but it’s not in this video - pls watch the film!
今日のvideo of the dayは「デリー・ベリー」から”Jaa Chudail”。確かchudailは魔女みたいな意味だったような。。。この曲は、このビデオの主人公アループ（ヴィール・ダスが演じています）が元彼女の結婚式に突入するという内容。不満を歌にして彼女に詰め寄るのですが、その間に周りの皆は彼の大ファンになってしまう、というものです。
この会場に登場した直後にアループが言うセリフが面白いので、映画を観てください！（この部分はビデオには含まれていないので。）
