Hitler Downfall Parodies & Kraftwerk
暇なのでYouTubeをだらだら観ていたら、2004年の映画「ヒトラー 最期の12日間」のパロディーを山ほど発見しました。
どのようなパロディーかというと、戦争に負けつつある状況を知ったヒトラーが怒りだすというシーンを使い（セリフはドイツ語？）、字幕を好きなように変えるというものです。例えば、「マイケル・ジャクソンの死について知ったヒトラー」「行きたかったミュージカルのチケットを取れなかったヒトラー」などと、いろんなバージョン（それこそ何千もの）があります。

吉祥寺の老舗カフェ「くぐつ草」にて。

ダン・ディーコン、ついに来日！
1月25日 渋谷O-NESTにて。
ずーっと楽しみにしていたダン・ディーコンの来日コンサートに遂に行ってきました。初のアジアツアー。期待に応えてくれるどころか、それ以上の驚きやユーモアにあふれたライブでした。CDのリピートのようなライブが多い中で、とにかく楽しめてエキサイティングな「観客一体型」のパフォーマンスでした。
ライブのチラシに「ダン・ディーコンの良さを理解するにはライブに足を運ばねば！」などと書かれていたのを読んで、「ふーん、でもみんなそういう風に言うでしょ」と半信半疑でしたが、まさにこの筆者の言う通り。演奏を観る前は１００％好きだったけど、今は２５０％くらい好きになりました。

Dan Deacon もうすぐ来日
It will be a fantastic start of the year… because Dan Deacon will be performing in Japan later this month! He will be playing in Tokyo on Jan 25 (with 2 other acts) and will have a solo live in Osaka as well. His music is colorful with full of small and big surprises. And he has looks that you can’t really forget.

やるなあ、ロンドン！
今夏に開催されるロンドン・オリンピックの開会式の音楽担当が、なんとアンダーワールドだって！しかも芸術監督はダニー・ボイル。映画トレインスポッティングのファンにはたまらない組み合わせです。 今月下高井戸シネマではトレインスポッティングが上映されるので、カッコ私にとっては）なんとタイムリーな話題。(このニュースは先月初めに既に発表されていたみたいですが、私はつい先ほどrockin’ on を読んで知りました。) トレインスポッティングでは、やはり一番印象に残っているシーンは、ラスト間近で主人公レントンが、コインロッカーの前で決断を下すシーンで、ここにあのアンダーワールドの名曲 Born Slippy が流れるのです。また銀幕で観られるのが今から待ちきれません。。。

今更ながらルミナリエ
毎年クリスマス前には公開が終わってしまう神戸のルミナリエ。今まで何度も神戸を訪れていますが、行った事がなかったルミナリエ。今年ついに行く機会がありました。イメージしていた「緻密なデザイン」とは少し違うものでしたが、一つ一つの灯りの色がきれいでした。
ただ、阪神淡路大震災の起こった１９９５年に犠牲者への追悼と神戸の復興への願いをこめてルミナリエが始められた事を考えると、とても複雑な気分。東日本大震災では多くの犠牲者が出て、今でも解決の糸口が見えない問題が山積されています。原発事故の収束宣言をしてしまうような政府。被災者の人たちとの温度差が依然として激しいように思えます。

クーリエ・ジャポンの編集部ブログによると、米国の刑務所で男性受刑者に人気のコースがあって、それはなんと！編み物だそうです。投稿の一番下にある動画（リンク先）には編み物を習っている受刑者（いかにもバイカーのおじさん）のインタビューもあって、毛糸の色合わせとか結構センスがよかったりします。この人いわく、「編み物は忍耐力を要する」と同時に「心を落ち着かせてくれる」とのこと。

この間ひさ〜しぶりに大阪は南船場のたこ焼き居酒屋（？）「蛸家」に行ってきました。ここは昔良く通っていたところで、いろんな種類のたこ焼きがあります。定番の「ネギぶっかけ」や、「めんたいマヨ」「たこでんがな」などなど。他にもキムチとタコと野菜を炒めた「キムタコ」などタコ料理もあります。たこ焼きは以前と変わりなく、柔らかくてとてもおいしかったです。

山賊焼 sanzokuyaki
This was my lunch the other day. The fried chicken you can see is called Sanzoku-yaki, and it’s a local delicacy in Matsumoto, Nagano. “Sanzoku” means something like mountain bandits, and “yaki” is “fried”. There are a few different stories about how it was named Sanzoku-yaki but I don’t go into details here. It was yummy!

tokumaru shugo & kiseru
ではトクマルシューゴの話。忘れないうちに。
CDなどを聴くと彼の声はそこまで主張せず、数ある楽器の１つという感じですが、ライブで観ると結構声がしっかりしていて（もちろんマイクの効果もありますが）、曲全体が力強く聞こえました。またライブを観たいと思いました。（ちなみに服装は、NHKの番組「トップランナー」に出演した時と同じでしたが、あれがステージ衣装？）
トクマル氏の前には、２人組の兄弟バンド「キセル」が演奏していましたが、こちらも地に足がついている音楽でなかなか良かったです。トークはゆるかったですが、あれが彼らの魅力なのでしょうか。

monkava ガレット専門店
またまた長らくお休みしていました。すみません。
その間にトクマルシューゴのライブを観たり、ボリウッドを映画館で観たり、ガレット専門店（下の写真を参照）に行って舌鼓を打ったり、いろいろとそれなりに忙しくしていました。またちょこちょことブログに書いていきます。
今日はこのガレット専門店、monkavaについて。ウェブサイトはこちら。松本市にあります。
私の写真よりも、遥かにおいしそうに撮れた写真が沢山載っています。
食べておいて未だにガレットというのが何なのかよく分かりませんが、そば粉の生地を薄く焼いて、いろんな食材を載せたもの？フランスの郷土料理とのことですが、フランスでは郷土料理になるほどそば粉が食生活に浸透しているのか？？（まあガレットというのは、そば粉だけに限ったものではないようですが。）

I just got back from Yokohama Triennale 2011. I went to the city for some other reason but found out that the art festival is still happening, so I went and have a look.
They had a lot of great art pieces but my favorite was definitely The Clock, by Christian Marclay. It’s a video that collected parts from films/dramas that mention the particular time of the day. Amazing work and I loved...

sigur ros & NHK ?
I was watching an NHK programme about bipolar disorder, and it started with a Sigur Ros song! (NHK is a Japanese national TV channel and Sigur Ros is a post-rock band from Iceland). It was a nice surprise!
I used to really like Sigur Ros a few years ago. I saw them live in Melbourne in 2006, playing with Amiina.
